ABOUT ME

* * * Maybe this is the first time you have come across my name before ? Well, I have been successfully collecting and selling records and CD's for many years - first with my own record shop and then since 1991 selling by mail order only. Over the years I have become quite a familiar with hundreds of long-standing record collectors and music fans, in particular certain genres. and have always tried to supply good value and quality items, as well as many rare and sometimes exclusive records and CD's.

* * * Over the years I have also been involved in many other music projects. These include supplying certain famous celebrities and DJ's with records and CD's for (Colin Berry, Jonathan King etc.) and helping the famous and well respected UK based magazine'RECORD COLLECTOR' with artwork (picture sleeves and record labels photos etc.) and for their May 1993 edition I supplied a comprehensive Discography of all UK releases from the notorious Eurovision Song Contest. I also provided recordings and publishing clearance information for the company behind the first official Eurovision Song Contest compilation released in the UK, 'THIS IS EUROVISION', the double CD album released by VIRGIN in 1997, as well as recordings and artwork used on other CD's since then.

* * * In the years 1995 to 1998 I had accreditation at teh Eurovision Song Contest as a journalist and attended all week at rehearsals, press conferences and parties and was able to communicate at ease with the official record company representatives of each country attending the 'Contest', in order that I could stock sufficient quantities of the various Eurovision CD releases for those years to satisfy demand for all the interested fans and collectors. However with the launch of the yearly Eurovision Song Contest CD album releases it is no longer necessary to stock the CD singles of Eurovision entries as I did back then.

* * * I still have a vast record and CD collection of many thousands, but the majority of these are my personal collection, rather than my remaining shop stock items. I don't have plans in the immediate future to issue any sales lists and I continue to add to my collection.
